Chapter 1: the beginning part 2.


*****the next day*****


I woke up and looked at my clock. ‘Only six a.m.’ I thought. ‘class starts at eight o’clock.’ I turned around trying to catch some sleep.

When I woke up again I looked straight at the big wet black nose of my ‘best friend.’ “Hey Akamaru!” I patted his head. “good morning buddy! Do you need to go out?” I asked him.

A lot of people think it’s weird that I talk to my dog but I understand Akamaru and he understands me. So I let them think what ever they want.

I took a quick shower and got dressed. I looked at my clock. ‘already half past seven.’ I quickly finished my breakfast. “Akamaru! Let’s go boy!” I said.

I jogged towards the forest with Akamaru. I stopped for a second and walked further. I walked deeper into the forest.

After awhile I turned around. “come on, Akamaru. Let’s head back.” I said and we walked back.

I saw a familiar figure at the edge of the forest.

“Hinata?” I said.

She turned around and saw me.

“Kiba-kun?” She smiled. I smiled back.

“Hey. What are you doing here?” I asked her.

“Well, Neji niisan wanted to leave early but then Tenten walked further down the street and he rushed off so I decided to walk along the forest.” She gave me a sweet smile.

“Mind if I walk with you?” I asked.

“No! I don’t mind Kiba-kun.” She smiled again.

“Then let me walk Akamaru home and get my stuff, alright?” I asked.

She nodded and we walked back to my home.

“MOM! I’m going!” I said and planned to close the door but my mom got a hold of the door.

“Who’s this girl? Is she your new girlfriend?” She gave me an evil smile.

‘Curse that woman!’ I thought.
“NO! she’s Hinata! You know, Hinata Hyuga?” I said returning an evil glare.

“Easy Kid! I’m just messing with ya!” Tsume teased.

I growled.

“Come on, Hinata, let’s go.” I took her hand and dragged her with me.


“I sorry for letting you hear that.” I let my head drop.

“No, it’s okay. Don’t worry about it.” She smiled at me.

Then I realised I was still holding Hinata’s hand.

I quickly let her hand go. “I’m sorry…” I looked away and put my hand on the back of my neck.

“It’s okay Kiba-kun.” She still smiled.

I returned her smile.

‘Why am I feeling this?’ I thought.


Ino’s p.o.v.


“I’m going to school now, see you later!” I closed the door and turned around. I saw Kiba holding Hinata’s hand and dragging her towards school.

‘Why do I feel so… so… What’s the good word? The pain in my chest right… were… my…… heart…… is…?’ I thought.

I touched the skin that was right above my heart. I clenched my fist, grapping some of my cloth.

After a few minutes just staring at the ground I jerked up out of my thoughts and decided I better start walking otherwise I would be late for school.

Kiba’s p.o.v.

We were walking to the back of the school when I heard my name.

“Hey Kiba!!”

I turned around and saw Naruto running towards us.

“Hey Naruto!” I waved.

“Hey Kiba, I didn’t know you had a girlfriend.” Naruto asked.

I was a little confused. A girlfriend? I looked beside me and Hinata was blushing and looking down playing with her hands.

“A girlfriend? Oh… do you think Hinata is my girlfriend?” I asked.

“Well yeah… she stands really close to you and she’s blushing.” He said.

“She isn’t my girlfriend, moron… She’s one of my best friends since childhood.” I said.

“Then why’s she blush- Where did she go?” He looked around him.

I looked beside me and Hinata wasn’t there. ‘Wha-? Where did she go?’ I thought.

“I have no idea…” I also looked around me.

“Weird girl…” Naruto put his hand behind his back again.

“She isn’t weird! She’s really shy that’s all...” I said, defending her.  

“Hmnn? Shy? Well that’s explains a lot.”

“Come on, let’s go to Shikamaru, Choji and Shino.” I walked behind to school where our ‘hanging’ place was. We always sat there.

“Are you guys always here?” Naruto asked while almost bumping into me.

“Well almost always… only when it’s cold outside we’re inside.” Shikamaru leant against the wall.

“Nah! You’re kidding, right?” Naruto said sarcastic with a big grin.

I walked towards Shino and sat next to him.


Ino’s p.o.v.


“Ino!” I turned around and saw Sakura running towards me.

“Sakura? What’s wrong?” I said after I saw her confused look.

“I am confused… I love Sasuke-kun but…… I think… I think… I think I have also the same feelings towards Naruto.” She whispered.

“Who’s Naruto?” I thought I heard that name before but I couldn’t lay my finger on it.

“That new kid!” Sakura yelled.

“Jeez…… Sakura, you didn’t need to yell…” I held my hand to my ear.

“Anyway… I’m confused… you need to help me!” Sakura folded her hands and dropped her head.

“Alright! alright! What do you want me to do?” I placed my hands on my hips and sighed.

Sakura looked up and smiled at me.

“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She hugged me.

“Alright! Alright! Stop choking me!” I tried to push her away.

“okay I need you to-“


Kiba’s p.o.v.


When the bell rang we walked to our first class… and guess what? It was biology given by Kakashi Hatake… can you believe it?

We entered the class and waited until Kakashi arrived.

“Sit down, please.” He took his seat in front of the class.

“alright, I’m going to give you Biology.” He said and closed his visible eye.

I leant my head on my hand and looked out of the window.

Before I knew it I fell asleep.

“Kiba?” I heard a voice it sounded like when you’re trying to talk under water.

“Kiba?” It was clearer this time.

“Kiba!” I woke up and the first thing I saw was a wooden table. I looked up to see who’s calling my name.

“The first day of school and you fell asleep, you made a good impression on me, Kid.” Kakashi was standing right in front of me and I couldn’t tell if he was angry or just being sarcastic because it still sounded like it came from under the water.

“you’ve got detention, Kiba, stay after class.” He walked away and continued his lesson.

“Wow Kiba, first day of school and you already got detention.” Naruto was grinning next to me.

“we’ll see how long it’s going to take before you’ve got detention.” I growled and folded my arms under my head and looked at the clock.

He smirked.

When the bell rang I didn’t move and continued watching out of the window, looking at all those people who were passing the school.

“So Kiba, do you have a special reason for sleeping in my class?” Kakashi placed his hands on is hips and bowed over me.

“No, it was just boring.” I let my head rest on my arms again.

“Well then, after your last class you come here again, got that?” He bowed over me again.

“Yeah, Yeah, can I go now?” I didn’t wait for an answer as I walked out of the class.

I looked inside the hallway. It was quiet, not a single soul was standing or walking in the hallway. I sighed. I put my hands inside my pocket and walked towards the next class.
